Getting Settled In

We've been in Jefferson City, TN for a little over 1 month. It's been crazy busy, but we're enjoying it so far.

Calla is learning something new every day. This past Wednesday, she learned to pull her feet all the way to her face with both hands. Yesterday, she learned she can even put them in her mouth :(

She is quite popular with the students, especially the international students. She tends to brighten anyone's day who crosses her path! We are extremely blessed with her, and thank God every day that He chose us to be her parents.

The Move

WHEW! Yes, that just about describes our lives since returning to the USA. Friday, we arrived at our new home: Carson Newman College. Nathan is a Residence Life Director. This should be a very interesting job (and we have a feeling, a very loud one as we live in the boy's dorm complex)! Please pray for us as we transition, that we would all get plenty of rest and time.

Calla is the BEST BABY EVER!! She is so cute and sweet! She sleeps about 12 hrs. every night, and takes 3-4 naps/day. She smiles at everybody, and only fusses when she's hungry & ready to sleep. She soothes herself to sleep. She's rolling over a lot, and last week, started grabbing some things with her hand (like mommy's hair and her hanging toys). She has such a fun, pleasant, happy personality! We are so in love with our precious little girl! We are constantly thanking God for letting us raise her!
